In short

Chirpfold doesn't collect personal data. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don't use third-party SDKs.

What stays on your phone

Your best scores, settings (fold strength, sound), which looks you've unlocked and what Chirpfold is wearing are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, scores from rounds played with real folds on iPhone Duo are sent to Apple's Game Center leaderboard and shown with your Game Center name. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy. You can play without signing in.

Purchases

Looks are bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details or Apple Account information. The app only checks with Apple which looks you own.

Local weather (optional)

Local weather is off by default. If you turn it on, the app asks for your approximate location while you're using it and uses it only to request the current weather from Apple's WeatherKit. Your location isn't stored and isn't sent to us. Turning the option off stops it.

Share card

The score card is made on your phone. It's shared only where you choose. If you save it to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add the image; the app can't read your photos.

This website

chirpfold.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other sites. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to deliver the pages; we don't keep logs of visits.

Children

Chirpfold is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
